Conversations about leadership, responsibility, and the emotional realities we don’t name enough.

A podcast and media project exploring leadership beneath the surface.

Leadership Under the Surface - A Reflection

I’m in the early, formative days of a podcast called The Human Behind the Leader.

I come to this work with years of leadership and people experience and I also know that no single perspective captures the full emotional reality of leading.

Leadership carries an invisible weight that’s often absorbed quietly and rarely named. As I shape this podcast, I want to widen the lens beyond my own experience and listen to how others carry responsibility in different roles and contexts.

I’m especially interested in hearing from:
➡️ Leaders and people managers
➡️ HR professionals
➡️ Learning & Development practitioners
➡️ Therapists and mental health professionals who support leaders

If you’re in one of these roles and feel open to sharing a few reflections, I’ve created a short, optional Google Form, Leadership Under the Surface-A Reflection. There’s no follow-up, no obligation, and no expectation beyond what you’re comfortable offering.

This isn’t a poll or a request for ideas, it’s simply a way to listen more carefully and ensure the conversations ahead reflect real, lived experience.
If this resonates, you’re welcome to share.
